Gary Moore and SRV would be a sweet guitar fight.

No check mate. Joining at a certain date has no relation whatsoever to your musical knowledge. The fact is, you just dont seem like one who likes blues or jazz, and judging by the people you stuck on the list, you really have no clue whats going on. Not to be offensive or anything, but it would be nice to have some variety, other than just the standard that most know of. And you didnt include any Jazz, like said. You cant leave guys like Wes, Green, Larry Carlton, etc out of that list.

Edit: And you spelt Gallagher wrong.

^well he could leave a lot of those out...if i was picking for a total of ten people and wanted 5 jazz guys, to be fair they'd be Wes, Django, Christian, Pass, and Metheny. Not as big a fan of blues, so you guys could pick a better five, but I think if you're limited to that small number: BB King, Robert Johnson, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Albert King, Eric Clapton...although in my personal opinion, when he played bluesy Hendrix outplayed them all.

^ You have this list. You can add a point to your favorite and take a point from your least favorite. When a guy reaches 0, he is eliminated. The last guitarist left wins. I have no idea about rules for posting twice in this game, though.

1. B.B King 10
2. Rory Gallagher 11
3. Jeff Buckley 10
4. Eric Clapton 10
5. Stevie Ray Vaughan 11
6. Jimi Hendrix 12
7. John Mayer 6 HURT
8. Jeff Beck 10 HEAL
9. Buddy Guy 10
10. Gary Moore 10.

^ I think you're only allowed one hurt and one heal lol... so that would mean you have to pick between SRV and Buddy Guy, and John Mayer only gets one point taken away.

I think that's how it goes.

It's not necisarily hate for john, its love for the others. I can't find one person on that list that John Mayer should be ranked ahead of at this point in his career, honestly.
