A good song should make you wanna tap your feet and get with your girl. A great song should make you wanna destroy cop cars and set fire to the suburbs.

I wouldn't really call Satch's music fusion. If you're looking for some real fusion I'd suggest these would be a good place to start:

Vital Techtones - Steve Smith/Victor Wooten/Scott Henderson
Vital Information - Frank Gambale/Steve Smith
Greg Howe, his collaborations with Ritchie Kotzen, and Dennis Chambers/Wooten
Allan Holdsworth
Frank Gambale
Centrifugal Funk - Lane/Gambale/Brett Garsed

and of course some of the classics,
The Mahavishnu Orchestra
Return to Forever
Bitches Brew

Check out some of Jeff Becks fusion, back in the 70's he owned the genre.

Liquid Tension Experiment. They are Prog Metal, but few have put them in the Fusion genre.

I have tried to download Centrifugal Funk everywhere but couldn't come up with a current valid link (I checked also the threads in this forum but the links are not good anymore). Can anybody upload it somewhere?

Besides I would add Tony MacAlpine to this bunch of great fusion artists. I have a few albums by him, a couple of which, on my opinion, are an excellent mix between fusion and jazz-rock. If anyone is interested let me know

Wait a minute...I don't think Guthrie Govan has been mentioned

Guthrie Govan you little bitches!

BTW I'm interested in the Tony MacAlpine CDs

I've recently started listening to George Benson and he writes good music (not shreddy though)
