Although not perhaps a Bass shredder, Hamm is one of my favourites.

Three w00ts for Stu Hamm. He's my fav.

Next, probably Billy Sheehan and Victor Wooten. I don't really pay attention to bass players lol.

wtf...

victor wooten, jaco pastorius, stanley clarke, stu hamm, les claypool and cliff burton are NOT bass shredders. sure all of them can play fast but they dont shred, and each of them play music to go with their genre, and rarely do play fast altho they can. (by fast i mean shredding fast)

tho Juan alderete (when with racer x), sheehan, and myung are my fav shredders.

and if its a matter of opinion, then why are you getting mad at my post? its my opinion that they are NOT shredders. period.

Thats complete Bull**** my man!
I'm afraid I'll just have to go with Sheehan,Wooten and Pastorius for the simple reason that they're the only ones I've heard. I'm not up on Bassists. Any good recommendations?
