I think this comes from the classic rock era. I can't remember it all....just one line in fact...maybe two.

Anyhow, the music kinda quites as I think the guy says "The best I ever had..."

The music is all silent then the guy shouts "The best I ever had!" and it picks back up.

You'd think the name would be "The best I ever had" but I downloaded 3 songs named that, none of them were right. Does anyone know the song name AND artist? That'd be splendid. Thanks!

I wish. Grrr. I should pay more attention next time the announcer names the band/song.

the song is called "Bargain" by the great band The Who, off of their CD Who's Next

you cannot possibly regret buying that CD...if you're not familiar with the band (which you're probably not, seeing as bargain is one of their most popular songs), that CD also has:

Baba O'Riley (the teenage wasteland song)
Won't Get Fooled Again (the big scream song)
Behind Blue Eyes (the one covered by limp bizkit)
"I see my light come shining from the west down to the east
Any day now, any day now I shall be released"
