There's so many great ones. I don't know how I'll choose. I think I'm gonna go with Every One Have Fun Tonight by Wang Chung. What's yours guys's favorite One-Hit wonders?

did you know the major scale on a piano, starting at whatever note (lets say E). you just go straight up the white keys without hitting a black one. and you got the major scale.

Don Mclean was not a one hit wonder, he had another hit with "Vincent."

My favourite is Lou Reed. He has many songs better than his one hit.

I saw that on tv. I was a bit upset for a moment.

Err I'm too Sexy, Come on Eileen, or Baby Got Back. For famous one-hit wonders. Some of my bands probably qualify but I don't know which ones.

Or Tainted Love, by Soft Cell.

I'm pretty sure both had a hit or two more. At any rate, both have way better songs than those. Check out some of their other stuff. Especially Gary Numan.

I know, but both are considered 1 hit wonders (on VH1's countdown list anyway).

I have like all of both their songs on my iPod My current favourite Seagulls is Transfer Affection and We Are Glass by Numan

I'd say There She Goes by The La's is a great track, and I think it's the only one people really know.

I like a lot of one hit wonders though 'Play thet Funky Music' by Wild Cherry has to be up there, and 'Save Tonight' by Eagle Eye Cherry too.

The Knack, The New Radicals and Semisonic have already mentioned, and I also really like 100 Miles by Vanessa Carlton too.

Strawberry Alarm Clock - Incense and Peppermints

Classic 60's one hit wonder... I love the organ in there
.

Might as well label Slayer and At The Gates as "metalcore" while you're at it...

Gin Blossoms had more hits than Hey Jealousy. Follow You Down and Til I Hear It From You for starters. I don't think they would have made a greatest hits cd if they had only one hit.

Take On Me, I think it was by A-ha.

I remember a comedian saying how this seems like an easy song to sing to impress your girlfriend or whatever because it starts of relatively low. Then you keep on singing and it just keeps going higher and higher and even more ridiculously high, but no, you can't back away now, you made the choice and you have to follow through!!
