Ok so i played the Dual rectifier today, and i liked the sound and all, but wasnt COMPLETELY satisfied (havent had enough time to play it loud or mess with it much) ...

I play some very dark / sad clean songs , and some heavy rock / metal guitar parts... but i enjoy playing some older / classical rock music also (ozzy / lead zep)

Whats the perfect amp for me?

I thought dual rec, but im not sure

I played an ORANGE today... omg ... but any ideas?

Is the Mesa Boogie Dual Rec worth my time? What other options do i have to get a dark and sad tone clean and a heavy ass ripping distortion

the mesa sounds pretty sweet for you, maybe a maxon OD9 for the classic rock?

if not, check out an ENGL powerball, keep in mind mesa = dark, engl = bright.
