My first post. I'd love any type of review as well as your interpretation of the song. Enjoy.

Evening Crescendo

(Verse 1)
From my room
Theres a view
Of a melody I thought of
When I
Thought of you
Paints a picture of uncertainty
Now Im
So confused
Ask myself why I cant act like
The ones
Who never lose?
Who never frown or falter maybe its
My fate
To hit the snooze
To see the day and roll back over
Close my eyes
And take my cues
Think its safe to say I had no right

(Chorus)
And I
Was wrong to you
And all along I knew
Everything we had could all fall through.

(Verse 2)
Take a walk
Through the rain
Every day I sing a different song
But one
Still remains
Just as every word Ive said till now
Was sure
To sound the same
Every honest prayer wouldnt be
Complete
Without your name
I ask for faith and patience to see the path
My life
Is meant to claim
Apologies for qualities
The fool
I became
But I wont play this out the same way twice

(Chorus)
I
Was wrong to you
And all along I knew
Everything I failed to tell you
Waters that we could not sail through
Everything we had could all fall through

(Bridge)
Oh we were friends
Now were strangers again
Better off is such a lie
So I will follow your eyes
To that place in the sky
Where you long to be young and alive
Oh we were friends
Now were strangers again
Better off is such a lie
So I will follow your eyes
To that place in the sky
Where you long to be young and alive

(Chorus)
And I
Was wrong to you
And all along I knew
Everything we had could all fall through.
I
Was wrong to you
And all along I knew
Everything I failed to tell you
Waters that we could not sail through
Everything we had could all fall through

I cant say much since i just started writing too..soo...i just think that u need to ease up on the spaceing.... like
"From my room
Theres a view
Of a melody I thought of
When I
Thought of you"

Just seems to me like there is a lot of pause so it sounds weird in my head...maybe its just me

I absolutely love this piece. ^^
As for my interpretation of the song...

"
Oh we were friends
Now were strangers again
Better off is such a lie
So I will follow your eyes
To that place in the sky
Where you long to be young and alive
Oh we were friends
Now were strangers again
Better off is such a lie
So I will follow your eyes
To that place in the sky
Where you long to be young and alive"

This gives me a feeling the song might be about a lost love one or losing someone in general, how it might be better for them to be with you now instead of leaving you and becoming a "stranger".

And I
Was wrong to you
And all along I knew
Everything we had could all fall through.
I
Was wrong to you
And all along I knew
Everything I failed to tell you
Waters that we could not sail through
Everything we had could all fall through

This gives me the feeling as well, that you might lose someone when you might least expect it, "Everything we had could all fall through", maybe?
How you might have regrets if you've kept things from someone that you might not ever be able to tell them again?

I'm sure my interpretation isn't exactly the best, but hey.
10/10
Write more!
I like it a lot.
Help me with mine, please?^^;
(critique my piece, I mean?)
