my new vox is not loud enough. its a beautiful amp, 50 w, and its not loud enough, compared to our other guitar players amp. how should i go about micing it. any hints, or tips i should know, about getting a quality sound when micing the amp? thanks alot

EQ its a bit different. Adding a bit more midrange adds in a huge amount of prescence.

What wattage is ur other guitar player's am? If you're scooping ur mids, thats the reason it isnt coming through. When playing alone I like to scoop the mids a bit, but when I play live I always turn my mids all the way up, and bass and treble down about half way or less.
