In your opinion what is the best song to start learning bass on? Im looking for something thats not too gard to learn. I listen to Guns N' Roses and other hard rock acts. Thanks in advance...

Low Rider by War, my generation by the Who (hard for beginner but worth trying for), Taxman by the Beatles (ditto - atleast the breakdown), Smoke on the water by Deep Purple, and Stand by me by Ben E King were my first few songs.

I was gonna say Black Sabbath and Dazed and Confused and he said both of them.

On the subject, I saw the Yardbirds last year and they played Dazed and Confused (or I'm Confused as it was originally called by them) and damn the bassist plays good! Especially given he sings as well.
