alright... the other thread was pretty sweet but some people decided to post ban-worthy crap... so this time:

DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, POST ANYTHING MALICIOUS OR THAT CAN BE CONSIDERED HARMFUL TO ONE'S COMPUTER

so, keep it clean

(someone post the rule-abiding tricks from the original thread if you remember)

*anyone not following the rules WILL be reported*

yeah, for most people using XP the "screen-flip" trick is supposed to be Ctrl+Alt+Directional Arrow but it doesn't work for me

the old alt shift printscreen is funny, (it makes the colours go negative and the writing goes bigger for vision impaired people)

Haha, that's pretty cool. It makes me computer squeek though

START C:\WINDOWS\system32\calc
START C:\WINDOWS\system32\notepad
GOTO :LOOP

i told someone to make a batch file that opens notepad & the batchfile again and this was on a loop. They got busted

Guarenteed reboot hahah. Also i read typing "con/con" or "aux/aux" in IE = crash.

Simple but fun ones to do at people while they are on the computer:

Run up to them and hit "windows + L or D" or Cntrl + W
#10
"windows + D" = minimize all windows
"alt + tab" switches between programs (good for viewing pr0n)
"alt + F4" closes window
"prt scr" takes picture of whatever's on screen

my favorite: being banned (Mod Edit)
#11
on os x press ctrl + alt + command + 8. you'd be surprised how much i use that.

also, press 'alt' + 'command' + '+' - it zooms in to where ever the mouse is. i thikn you have to enable it first though.

Alt+f4 is the most useful thing (as in not for just pranking people). Helps get rid of windows that you can't close otherwise. In combination with Alt+Tab you can get to those background windows that won't close and take them out.

Basically, for if you're looking at porn and the site has those annoying popups.

Lol one of the easiest things to do, is on old monitors with he scroll thing to make them darker is turn it down so it looks like its off, it works I did it today and they sent the computer to get fixed, they thought it was broken. Damn idiots.

Lol, I made the batch file, and opened it, hilarious.
Is there a way to make it type a certain text into the notepad?
Is there a way to manipulate the note pads so they open in certain spots, and make some kind of retarded picture with them?

Makes me want to learn to code.

Firefox:
F11 maximize

F5 refresh

ALT+ directional arrow

shift+delete deletes the dropdown menu stuff (you know, pr0n)

notepad:

type:

ren "name of file here" "new name for file here"

and save it as a .bat. It'll rename file and stuff...

Rightclick on your desktop and select new shortcut. In the new window that opens put "%windir%\System32\shutdown.exe -s -t 0" without the quotation marks. Now just double click that icon and it'll shut down your computer.

ALT+Print Screen takes a screenshot but hides the taskbar.

Funny, cause ALT+Print Screen only takes a ss of the taskbar..

ss = screenshot I believe

and it does just take a shot of the taskbar.

My print screen button never works. Does anyone know if I need to enable it, or if I need to do anything else? I have a Sony Vaio with Windows XP.

I've tried it before now, it's safe, and it is quite clever. You don't have to use telnet to watch it, just search for ascii star wars in google.
