Yes. They are hard to play. Although once you get the technique down for 1 bar, you should be able to do the rest. Still that being said, it is a difficult little lick.

Random Factoid: The PT version, which is similar to the version of him playing at the AIM clinic is at around 14 notes per second. The Solo in Japan version hits upwards of 20 notes per second.
