Hey guys... I need some help on how to repair or replace my fretboard...
My fretboard wires are sticking out... three of them... on the edge though...
need some advices here...

It's a bass... unfret them?? hmm... how can I unfret them??
And how can I set them up??

are they high off the board or sticking out of the side.

off the side and u can file them.

in the air then u can lightly tap them in.
too much and u will dent them and ruin the fret.


or a pro can dress the frets at about $20 each.

I'm thinking of replacing the fretboard... cause it's a little too wide too...

wh type of bass? is it a bolt on neck?

its going to have to fit into the same joint so i dont know how u would get it to be less wide.
and pealing off a board isnt beginners stuff.

then you could get a new neck...i dont really understand ur problem its early wer i am but im tihnking getting the frets dressed?

new neck.
work on the frets,
new guitar/bass.


no clue, what type of bass, so its up to u.

yeah i looked and u didnt list the name there either. im guessing its not a name brand.

i would either tap and file the frets, not spending more than $30.
or i would start saving for a new bass.

i doubt id pour too much money into it.
