I have an RG321MH with a PAF Joe in the neck and a FRED in the bridge, I'm trying to get closer to some Satch sounds, however I like a lot of slower 'acoustic rock' too.

I have a $99 Fender Bullet 150 ATM and I think it needs to go. It's far too noisy, there is little tone, and it hisses when I turn up the treble.

I was about to order a Vox AD30VT but would like a second opinion before I go ahead with that, anything around that price would work for me.

Thanks ~ Dan

The Vox AD30VT is a pretty sweet amp. I've got the AD50VT and you can get a million different sounds. I'd get that one if I were you, definitely the best at that price range.

Is the 50 watt much better? I don't play gigs or even plan too, and usually play at low volumes...

The 30 should be fine.

If you're interested, look into the Roland Cube 30, too.
