I'm thinking about putting a Dean neck on my strat...I think the extra sustain from the dean headstock will help. Plus I've heard some fine things about their playability. It will also look different from the other million strats with their strat headstocks...any comments on this?
Depends on if the 22nd fret is on an overhang. If it isn't; it won't work (unless you make the pocket bigger).
Has to be the same scale length too, which for a Strat should be around 25.5", the Dean will probably be shorter like an LP.

That a good idea though, if you can do it.

I've always liked the Dean headstock designs. And the neck is a bit faster and more comfortable than a strat in my opinion

Good luck
