hi! i mostly listen to classic rock, progressive and some metal and i want to explore more music. i want to listen to jazz and blues but i dont know what song to start. i you dont mind, please suggest me some great artist and their greatest song. i just bought myself a vox wah and i dont use it much. please help me. thanks!!

If you like classic rock, tap into some deeper Hendrix, some of his live recordings are very bluesy and soulful. I'd recommend his box set, it has a lot of live recordings that are simply amazing.

Their is a great live show of Buddy Guy and SRV at Buddy Guys Legends bar in Chicago on Buddys birthday, it is magnificent. My favorite jazz players are Ernest Ranglin and Wes Montgomery

You're probably refering to Cream's cover of Robert Johnsen's "Crossroad Blues." I heard God and Beck play it and it's wicked awesome, it had some crazy good solos.

Another great thing to check out is "White Boy Blues." The two best living guitarist in the world, God and Beck with Jimmy Page. It has the sheer awesomeness of The Yardbird's guitarists without any pop rock.
