Hey I have a vox ad15vt. Can someone please tell me what settings to use or at least the general rule of how to make a shredding tone on this vox.

Thanks a lot.

Bridge hum, US High Gain, 6:00 gain, 6:00 volume, 1:00 treble, 9:00 mids, 4:00 low. No reverb.
It gets the job done.

Alright thanks guys. Um, so I never ask again, can you guys post the general rule with EQ and gain about how to make different types of sounds. Blues/clean/punk/metal/classic rock/shred.

shred:
-back off on the gain..
-keep the mids up
- bass dimes
- treble around noonish

Metal:
-lots of gain
-raise bass
-raise treble
-keep mids low

Well, for metal I want to get Tony Iommi's sound. I decided on the uk 80's mode for my crunch to quite the bit of distortion needs. Then Im thinking Nu metal for high distortion and AC30 for blues and such.

the UK70's is good for blues-rock too....thinkin like

Treb - 4-5ish
Mid - 8-10ish
Bass- 6-7ish
and personally i always like me just a bit of reverb..

try that, lemme know how it is...
