I was on a while back trying to sort out a price for a used MIM Strat that i was gonna buy from a guy at my school. However, I was greatly misinformed when it came to what type of strat it was. In the original ad, the dude seemed to play up the fact that it was MIM, which lead me to assume it was a plain ol standard series mexi strat.

However, it turns out that it is actually from the Classic Series, and is a 60's reissue. Just wondering about the quality of these guitars (is it something that is gigworthy, or am i going to want to upgrade later). Also, what would be a fair price. Its about 6 or 7 years old, and has a small ding above the top horn.

Thanx

The classic series is better then the standard. By all means go for it, i would take one over a mexi strat standard any day.
