I have a fender P bass special, with a maple neck and I have several small notches on the back of it I was wondering is there any way to get rid of these? They don't affect my playing too much but I wouldn't mind getting rid of them..

So, any ideas?

yeah... don't put water on wood. Rule number 1 of dealing with wood is don't cut wood unless you know exactly what you're going to cut it into. Rule number 2 is don't put water on wood. Don't do it. Don't do it. lol
