What do you guys think of them? How many of you have played them and like 'em? Anything about them you didn't like?

I'll post the pictures of the exact one im getting tonight (it's black with grey grill cloth...)

It's a good amp. Great overdrive, low-gain tones. I'd call it a perfect match for that 336.

Isn't that their 'texas' voice amp?

I tried the Lonestar yesterday at GC. Very nice. Not as high gain as I anticipated but great for classic to 80s rock and blues. Great looking and sounding. I really liked the controls.
It's a fine line between clever and stupid.

i really liked it when i tried it. That was a while ago, though, i hadn't tried much other nice kit- but yeah, it was nice.

I wasn't too fussed with the drive knob, though- the drive sounded a bit thin, IMO, i just wasn't too fussed on the voicing.

But the cleans, blues, and classic rock tones were great.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

Ah man, I LOVED the one I tried. A sweet sweet amp. Sounded absolutely killer on clean and low gain, and could even do Van Halenish and early metal stuff well too. Especially for the price that store was selling it at.
