Hey guys,

can anyone recommend any setting for 80s rock, preferably like BJ Slippery When Wet or New Jersey, or aldo novo if anyone has heard of him??? Anyway something like that cheers. I'm using JMP-1 and 9100 and rocktron Intellifex. If not how where I could get my JCM800 modded for this kind of sound. (I'm in the UK) Cheers

sorry man but no :p Just had to say...bloody nice setup :p

Meh, I usually just buy them off the local shaman, unless I'm in the wilderness, where I rely on raw meat to raise my HP.
how do u mean ? like Eddie Van Halen (Brown Sound) that has a throat cutting clean distortion ?

Edit:u can do what u want with ur whole setup

holy jazz dude that setup is......is just heavenly......how long did it take you to get all that jazz???check the ultimate settings threa in the electric guitar forum
I sometimes use this setup:
Guitar going into a stompbox (It doesnt matter what, but as long as it doesnt **** the sound up, I usually use an old Zoom player 3030 with the gain on about half- 3/4). this then goes into my Marshall which I drive to about half way, with the bass on about 4/4.5 , the middle on full, and the treble on about 5.5- 6. i usually use some reverb also.

and hes only 20 years old. for my van halen setting, i use around 8 for bass. 3 for mid. and 8 for highs. i got it running through a tech 21 gt2. this tis the setting. 5 for drive. marshall. hot. celestion spakers. and around 3 reverb.
