ok guys heres the thing... my old strings were wearing down so i boughtsome new ones. they are Ernie Ball Classic Rock and Roll Regular Slinky. I must say, they dont sound all that great. They are a bit twangy and i was wondering if anyone knew why...
do u guys have any recommendations for strings for me?

By the way... i play mostly classic rock like Led Zeppelin and Ac/Dc...stuff like that...not too hard not to soft

ok thanks guys

Another who doesn't know that strings only have a (very) limited lifetime...
The older the string, the duller the tone. That's why they are twangy.

When strings are new, they have that "twangy" sound to them. It should wear off in a day or 2.
