Yeah, I'm pretty sure that it's done just to make what he's doing look harder.

Cheap amps are "that bad". They suck up your tone like cocaine at Kate Moss' party.

i think its safe to assume that hes just showing off, though some arpeggios may be easier from that position... and what does his guitar have, like 30 frets?

Look on youtube.com- search "rediculously hard classical **** that no one in their right mind would try" and you'll find some 5 year old asian kids playing it

Some arpeggios might be easier from that position, but learning to fret upside down would be a major drag.

This technique is of German origin and has a rather long name. It's called...

wuchtig affektenlehre nachahmung klang innig neue gesamtausgabe.

Whew! Most people, though, refer to this technique by its acronym, wanking.

if you noticed it's sped up at the parts when he does that nifty trick, i think those motions defy the laws of physics anyway

There's a live ameteur video somewhere on Google Video of him in like a guitar shop or something where he does it.
I think.

I may have dreamt it.

Does anyone else find his music incredibly annoying?

And his antics while playing the double guitar? Come on, that's some funny ****...
#17
ok, thanks everyone. i thought it was for show but i wasn't sure.

It is. You can see parts where visually, he's playing the wrong thing that the audio is playing. Plus they did a bad job at cutting it

But yeah, he can do it fast. I've seen him live. Bit of a wanker of the guitar.
I enjoy a hearty roast dinner...

...for breakfast.

MAB's music puts waaaay to much emphasis on the technical/shoy apsect....and it declines musically. when speed kills/no boundries was first released, it created so much controversy that it was sent to a bunch of experts who analyzed it and determined that it had not been tampered with in any way. it looks absolutely impossible, but it is true.
