Please only Alice in Chains. Just put what you think about the band. Love em', Hate em' doesn't matter just your thoughts about them.

wouldn't this be better suited in the modern rock section? I don't think Alice in Chains released any albums in the 80s.

well first off, RIP layne.

i grew up in the "grunge" days, but i never actually listened to them until like the late 90's. my buddy gave me the unplugged cd, blew me away. jesus i loved that record. that kinda got the ball rolling for me, i am in love with them still. thats all.

The band was started in 1985. But you are right they didn't release an album in the 80's. Their first album Facelift was originally due for release on March 23, 1988. But due to album production difficulties it wasnt released until August 28, 1990. Even though they never released a CD in the 80's they are still considered one of the Greatest Hair Bands to exist.

Hair band?

Name one person who thinks Alice in Chains is a bloody hair band.

^ You have to admit, Facelift was somewhat hair-metal...but nowhere near as bad as others. Alice In Chains are probably Metal, but I think most people classify them as Modern Rock, with the other grunge bands.

Don't belong here.
