"Up atop my stairwell,
You will find me there.
Won't you please not wake me? [alt: Won't you leave me sleeping?]
Leave me where I lie.

Don't call me a martyr;
This is no great cause.
Don't call me a victim;
You don't know the half of it."

"Found me in the badlands,
Won't leave me to peace.
Can't you see I'm all alone?
I don't know anything."

"But we have evidence.
We have witnesses."

"Don't call me a murderer;
Did it with my own two hands.
Don't call me a lover;
You don't know the half of it."

"Don't call me a martyr,
Don't call me a victim."

"Don't call me a murderer;
Did it with my own two hands.
Don't call me a lover;
You don't know the half of it."

Tell me what you think.
you tell me who's better. i think good charlote are better than the bealtes but that's only because their lyrics mean more and they are better musicians.

I like the ideas your getting across, especially the repatition of 'you dont know the half of it.' Could work as quite a powerful song. Crit for crit and all that? i put on my first song 'Ocean' today
