my dad wants to get me a marshall stack
but i want an acoustic now since i like playing more chords
and havent really been practicing my soloing and stuff like that
even though i will do that stuff
but my dad wants to get me
this stack: http://samash.com/catalog/showitem.asp?itemid=41084
and i was thinking of this acoustic:Ovation CC44 Celebrity Deluxe Acoustic/Electric
or this acoustic:Fender CD-100CE Dreadnought Cutaway Acoustic/Electric

or hopefully we will have enough money to buy both
and oh yeah...i can probably sell my old crap one for like $50
and we have this randall cab
about 10 years old....but its a bass cab
so how much can i charge for it?
like $200-$300?

MGs suck. get an AVT. and get the ovation, btw its only good when plugged to an amp, unplugged sucks.
strat player forever.

If your going Marshall get a tube amp. That is definately not the best half stack. I've never played an Ovation but I played an acoustic/electric Fender and I loved it. I do not know what model it was but it felt and played great.

That amp is a POS. Your dad officially knows nothing about guitars. Get the acoustic.

my dad doesnt really keep up with the new gear.
hes old and doesnt really care
he just likes the fact that its a $600 stack.
