hey guys i'm writing a paper for science and my topic is electrical wiring for guitars. for now i just need to do the outline, so i was wondering which major points i should cover. i'm thinking of stuff like how the signal is produced out of the amp, differences between single coils and humbuckers, and i'm not sure about another one. some help would be greatly appreciated thanks guys.

Not to be a buzz killer but if the subject is "electrical wiring for guitars" than "how the signal is produced out of the amp, differences between single coils and humbuckers" do not meet the requirements of the title. Well the later might in a way but...

I would concentrate on the different types of wiring schematics, switches, pots, splitting buckers, tapping buckers, grounding and the like. I have added some sites below, I'm sure that more will add to the list.

well, to make this easier on me, i'll just leave out the "wiring" part. lol. but yeah i figure that for single coil and humbucker differences i could show some wiring diagrams that i found a few days ago (on the duncan website as a matter of fact). this ought to make it easier for me. thanks for the links though. i'll probably use them while i'm writing, but for now it's just the outline that's due. ciao.
