I wanted to know since Im getting an epi Es-335 guitar soon , but i wanted to know if i could take off the pick guard on it(the black thing or whatever) cause i like the look better without it , or would it be best to leave it on?

Yeah you can. It'll leave two small open holes though. One on the bottom edge, one near the corner of the front pickup.

You can see the screws in this really large picture.

The screw in the middle of the pickguard doesn't go down into the guitar itself.

yes you can. I did on mine. I dont think it looks as good but to each his own
