Um...This makes no sense?

You can't stop listening to an album that you're implying that sucks?
"This shit here's called Death"
"What the fuck? You mean I'm gonna hit this shit and die?"
"No Nigga! I said Deaf. You hit this and you aint gonna hear shit!"

I've been told that on many occasions.

In fact, my girlfriend broke up with me because of it...

I don't know.
The lead singer's solo work was decent.
I think his name was Gordon....Gano?

Why do we feel it's necessary to yak about bullsh*t in order to be comfortable?

That's when you know you found somebody special. When you can just shut the f*ck up for a minute, and comfortably share silence.

The femmes recycle their material too much IMO.

I love the S/t album, but god damn, we get the point, you guys are horny. Try another song topic.

i love the violent femmes. I saw them a few months ago and they were awesome and the crowd was really diverse like 5 yearolds to 70 year olds

The only album I have is a collection of hits, but I love what I've heard. The Femmes are a great, fun band, and I love the way they took that annoying, hillbilly bass line and used it in the Country Death Song to make an incredibly dark song, especially for the Femmes.
you tell me who's better. i think good charlote are better than the bealtes but that's only because their lyrics mean more and they are better musicians.
