Definently not my best, just felt like posting it. Crit for crit.

Amongst the lies there are always
Burried remains of the truth
Shards of hope are found even when
Lifes overshadowed in dispear

Guided by a light
Appearing out of the dark
It never hurts to know
Where you want to go

Amongst the lies there are always
Burried remains of the truth
Shards of hope are found even when
Lifes overshadowed in dispear

Believing what you know is
Sometimes hard to do
Especially when what you know
Contradicts what you see

Although hard to find
The truth does exist

you have some spelling errors I think it should be: Life's / dispair. I found it really odd how you cut off the sentences at irregualar parts of the sentences. I would like it if you could place commas and for each line adhere to that.

It's just a coplex way of saying 'don't believe what you see, I think?

Although hard to find
The truth does exist

Overall I think this song trys way to hard to be philisophical and there really isn't much substance there. It is really kind of boring but as you said it is not your best work.
