Guilty Gear X

Listen to Bloody Tears:

Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night

Besides Guilty Gear X and Castlevania, any decent metal music from video games from unknown artists that we should know about?

Double Dragon(nintendo version) has some kick ass riffs that could be classified as metal.

Kick scumbag ass and Headbang everytime I play it.

the "One winged angel" version of Final fantasy 7: Advent children is amazing!!!!
check it out if you can.
The trouble with nude dancing is that not everything stops moving when the music does.

^^Original version is better.

And Otherworld from FFX is pretty kick ass, also Violator for FFVII AC, and Those Who Fight Further from FFVII AC.
I'm a bit of a FFVII fan boy

Games have alot of sick music. Especially the older games, you could turn their midi files into some sick metal riffage i reckon. I.E - sonic, double dragon, battletoads, doom, etc....

The midis on Doom. The ones I remember sounded like "Master of Puppets" and "Mouth for War."

Those were nuts. When I bought doom 3 for 360, it came with doom 1 and 2. I was the happiest kid ever.

Same here! I bought that Doom 3 copy (but for the original XBox). Awesome game IMO, even if it made me jump at times.

Devil May Cry (all of 'em) blasts metal at you. You actually get a guitar for a weapon in the 3rd one.
what happened to the proposed Kirk Hammett flamenco album?

His acoustic didn't sound good with wah pedal, I suppose.
#25
There's an old NES game, I don't quite remember the title, Dragonquest maybe, something with dragons. Anyway, the music playing when you first start gameplay sounds exactly like Stratovarius' Playing with Fire
#26
Devil May Cry 3, the guitar sucks XD

But that's some pretty metal suff..

I believe I read on Blabbermouth that Green Carnation are on the soundtrack for the new baseball game 2006 (can't remember what the title is, i'm not a sports game kind of guy). I thought that was pretty cool, and kinda out of place.

Doom 3 only came out on the regular Xbox and PC you turd. Get your facts right.

Somepunkkid = TeH vIDeO GaME ELiTi$T

If you want metal in your games then go buy an Xbox and rip your music into it for costom soundtracks.

This thread failed

But dont worry SorrowIsMe your still a savage

^ well to be fair doesnt the 360 allow regular xbox games to be played on it?

Number of The Beast was in Tony Hawks 3 I think.
Ed Hunter has quite a lot of metal in it for a Video Game, but that's quite expected really.
I'd Say most of the music from the Final Fantasy games could be done in nice metal/shred covers I think anyways.
