if you like Rush, Rush in Rio and R30 are both AMAZING. Aerosmith's You Gotta Move is worth it for the extra performances, if not for just Rats in the Cellar, alone (the extras are Rats in the Cellar-which was only played once on the Bobo tour-, Fever, Livin' on the Edge, Same Old Song and Dance, and Last Child).

As mentioned, Live in Pompei was pretty sweet.
Dave Gilmour Live in Concert is also quite enjoyable.
The Dead have some good ones (View from the Vault, Truckin up to Buffalo, etc)
Does Humor Belong in Music is a good one for Zappa fans.
The Last Waltz (def. a must own)

Dave Gilmour Live in Concert is also quite enjoyable.
I prefer Waters' In the Flesh DVD to Gilmour's Meltdown DVD. Even though I don't particularly like Waters' lead guitarist (what was his name? Doyle Bramhall II?), I like the overall performance a lot.

The Jimi Hendrix Documentary DVD (if that even counts but it includes his best performances) and Jimi plays Monterey.

Is it all one concert or is clips from different concerts? and how many songs does he play on the dvd?

Personally, I'd choose anything of Gilmour's over Waters (even if that show had some great tunes in it). Its just something about Gilmours work that seems to just work for me.

Well, here's the Classic Rock DVDs that I own (and I recommend them all)...

The Grateful Dead Movie (Grateful Dead)
View from the Vault (Grateful Dead)
Woodstock: Director's Cut (Various Artists)
Concert for Bangladesh (George Harrison and many others)
No Direction Home (Bob Dylan)
Jimi Hendrix Live at Woodstock (Jimi Hendrix)

I want to get some more, but I'm tight on money right now. I would like to get the Zeppelin DVD, since a few of my friends have it and I love it, a Pink Floyd DVD, and an Allman Brothers DVD. I'd be content with those, but I know I wouldn't stop there.

Yeah, I see what you're saying. I'm hoping for Gilmour to release a recorded show from this year's tour. Now that would be a great concert DVD.

If you are into Neil Young, get the Rust Never Sleeps Live DVD. It is basically the video from the Live Rust live album, which is one of the best live albums out there to begin with. Definately a good buy.

Indeed they do, but I hope you wouldn't buy it just for the covers. That's just stupid.

What made me buy R30 was the Seeker, Xanadu (of course ), the rediculous R30 Overture, and the awesome extras (which include La Villa Strangiato, Circumstances, another performance of Xanadu , A Farewell to Kings, and The Spirit of Radio). Great concert.
