Uhh, try $25,000. If it's original and in excellent condition. This is just an aprox. price. Search E-Bay for a good one.
Edit Sry, it's $2,500 not $25,000. Oops!

I would say the most valuable JCM800's are first year (1981) 2203 heads, mint condition, all original, vertical inputs, Daly capacitors, and Drake transformers. These are relatively hard to find and can get up to $2000 in price although a more average price is $1500-1750. Early JCM800's are more sought after then many 70's JMP's
In 10 or 20 years their prices will double

What is the serial number?
Is it a 2203, 1959, or 2210 model?
What condition and originality is it in?
how many caps does it have (2, 3, 4, 5, or 6)?

if its a 2204 or 2205 head like most are it'll sell anywhere from 900-1200 for the head and another 300-400 for the cab.

if its an orginal 2203 it'll go for a few hundred more maybe although i've seen some 2203's go for under a 1000 on ebay lately. probalby people that don't realize what they have.

i just got a 2204 headed 2x12 combo (which is still the full 2204 head just with speakers built under it) model which is called the 4104 for 700 bucks off ebay and i feel like i got a pretty good deal so you've def. got something worth alot more then you payed.

Hey guys,

I have a JCM 800, 100w tube, 1981 vert input JCM 800, a hole drilled in the front because someone modded it, but returned it to normal after taking the mods out, as well as a pristine condition (MAYBE 1 knick or two) 1980b cab with four G12K-85 celestion 16ohm speakers in it. I was just wondering how much was it worth? after shipping and handling, both sums add up to $1200 US dollars. I was trying to think if I should keep this around, or sell it to get a hughes kettner? Any opinions from those with experience (I'm only 21 in the music scene, so i'm relatively young) would be appreciated, thank you!

The guy could probably have got about £500 if he'd pushed it, I've seen a JCM900 + 1960A 4x12 go for £275.
Actually called Mark!
