The little bit in Sabotage by the Beastie Boys is pretty sweet.

Pretty much anything by Victor Wooten, or Primus.

Also, White Knuckle Ride by Rancid.

And Panic Attack, as Tony pointed out.

Alright, I'll give them a try, Japanese Black Speed rarely disappoints.

Hmm judging from your pic you'd fit in more with a fat busted tribute.

Primus. Also, pretty much any Cryptopsy song.

My weirdest dream would have to be when I dreamed that I met this chick I really liked and wanted to practice sex, so I practiced on some guy I met at a gas station...that was pretty screwed up.

The solo's in Coffee shop/Aeroplane by RHCP.

Lmfao, this is the best thread ever, aside from the fact that it involves a girl being harpooned through a tent.

anything by John Myung. i love Justin Chancellors too, they're fantastically innovative. 75% of the time it doesnt even sound like a bass

My Generation by the Who

And I really like Lithioum by Nirvana, but it's more a riff than a solo.
Populus vult decipi. Decipiatur.

Bouree by Jethro Tull, those bass chords kickass!
Mr.Big by Free is also worth a mention...

Maxwell Murder is actually really easy to play. I like the song though. "Bombshell" confused me more, and it's a bassline, not a solo.

I saw this live video of Metallica with Cliff (RIP) soloing., and I thought he was great.

anything by justin chancellor is awesome but in terms of solo the bass solo intro to 'shopping for blood' by franz ferdinand is good. not great but thats all that comes to mind.

there is an emu hanging from my ceiling

Welcome to the jungle??? A bass solo in it? No...
Megadeth- Peace Sells, the intro part is pretty nice.

The bass solo at the end of "Erotomania" by Dream Theater is freakin' nuts.
what happened to the proposed Kirk Hammett flamenco album?

His acoustic didn't sound good with wah pedal, I suppose.
