Well first of all i'm not really sure about which forum to post this thread on but since i saw a delay thread here...i thought what the hell.

anyway i recently just got the Boss GT-8 and it has a whammy function installed inside and i'm having trouble finding songs which utilize the whammy pedal. i already know satch's 'searching' but are there any others? i'm sure that there are millions but i'm just really unaware.

any suggestions?

thanks in advance.

''love thing'' by satch
the entire song is with wah-wah if thats what you mean by whammy pedal

yah wahts the difference with with wah-wah and whammy? when i hear whammy, i always think its the floyd rose whammy bar.

the Whammy is this pedal by digitech: http://www.digitech.com/products/whammy.htm

It does a bunch of wierd pitch shifting stuff (simulated divebombs, octave or any other interval up or down, harmonizing what you're playing in any interval...), you can get some pretty neat sounds out of it.

The wah wah is the standard thing Vox/Dunlop Crybaby thing.Think: Jimi Hendrix - Voodoo Child, Slash using it all over the place, Kirk Hammet using it all over the place, Eric Clapton - White Room, funky 70s porn guitar riffs....

Couldn't you use them both at the same time and get an even greater range?

yeah, you can use it to get a pretty neat sound when transposing everything up an octave and other such things. Harmonizing what you are playing....

Yeah. people, like Lemoninfluence, are hypocrites and should have all their opinions invalidated from here on out.

Why do you want one if you don't even know what it is.

Tom morello is pretty much the first thing most people think of when you mention one, and no, it isn't wah, and you can't simulate it with a floyd rose. It's main purpose is an octavizer, you push down to make the guitar notes push up or down 1 or 2 entire octaves, meaning you can get really high pitched notes from low frets, or ear splitting from high frets.

No, it isnt in Cemetery Gates, tht Natural Harmonic Squeels.
