I kinda need some help on making up my mind

My budget is around 700 bucks and I really liked the Epi LP custom and the Fender Mustang

Im trying to get a sorta Inide sound

Is there any other guitars worth trying that might be better for around this price range?

And also what kind of amp should i get?

Maybe a Strat or Telecaster, both have nice bright indie sounds, look for a danelectro, they have an intresting sound

I'd say a tele for indie. Really twangy indie sound. Fender Mustang Reissues are pretty crappy. Same witth the jaguar hh.

Lots of indie bands use Telecasters. Wide rage of tone from them. A lot of Dots used too but there not so good for anything heavier than indie so if you want variety go for a Telecaster.
My Gear:
Epiphone SG
Vintage SG
Stagg Strat (With replaced hardware and a Duncan Invader )
Hohner Strat
No name Acoustic
Jim Dunlop Crybaby
Boss MT-2
Boss DS-1
Roland Cube 60
Wires and patch cords and stuff..

Well i like the fender necks and all so I'll have to try the Tele at my shop

If alot of dots are used then would a semi hollow tele work? cause ive seen those before

A good guitar is:

A guitar that sounds good to YOU.

A guitar the feels great in YOUR hands.

A guitar that YOU like the look of.

Go to a guitar store, sit down and try every guitar that catches your eye. That's the only way to do it.
My Gear:

Washburn WI14 Electric
Washburn D10s Acoustic
Marshall MG100HDFXR Special Edition
Marshall MG412AR Special Edition
