This is more of a tone test than anything else. I'm gonna record the whole song sometime soon but I just wanted to give the solo a test to see how it would sound. Drum and bass backing track, 2 rythm guitars and 1 lead.

nice it is getting there. Try to get the Pinch Harmonics in 2nd solo and it will sound more authentic. Definitely gettin there.

Thanks man. It's really a fairly straight forward solo and pretty fun to play as most of maiden's songs are. The one i recorded is probably about 80% accurate to the original. It's just basically missing the wammy dive and rise bit towards the end in the original.

If you get that pinch harmonic, it will be KILLER, but seriously good job!

BTW Can you check out my cover, MEet With Me? Thanks.

Hey ipwnyngwie

It may not be note for note, but I could certainly recognize the solo. He will get there & that is why he is seeking our feedback. Every day we learn on the guitar and this guy will get there.

thx Macman

Thats some pretty sweet stuff youve got there. I really like your tone and your playing. There were a couple parts where you kinda messed up a lil bit, nothing major.

Great job!

Crit mine please?

OK guys I uploaded a new version of the solo so check it out if you want. I'm gonna use this one in the final version of the song which hopefully I'll be able to finish tomorrow. I like this version much more than the previous one. Check it out if you have the time. Thanx
