Well, I was bored so I decided to cover something. Obviously I changed some thigns (you have to improvise sometimes when you mess up or forget a note ) and some thigns arent played cleanly (again, obviously, im not the worlds most perfect guitarist ) . Some bends are kinda flat I think. The thing about this recording is, I recorded everythign but the last solo, and then my cousins came over, so I had to stop recording for like an hour. So i went and did my hw instead and when they left and I started to record the last solo, my hand muscles would really ****ing hurt and get really tense. But i really wanted to finish this tonite so here it is :p

Clearly not perfect, but pretty good, I still can't do the solo myself.

That shows quite a bit of skill, if i played with that little of distortion it woudl have sounded like a dying baby. Good job

Really good playing/timing and improvisation. The only issue that i had found is the lack of distortion cause some pull off to sound kind of weak, but i think is just a minor issue.

I recomend you to buy a distortion pedal (FAB metal if you have a tight wallet) or use VST plugin like amplitube (if you don't have the money, you cand download it using bearshare).

I did a cover of this song too: http://amlc.dmusic.com

i played that solo about as good as you back when i was a year in too, give it some time and youll be able to hit your bends nicer and your solo will all around get smoother. i didnt practice the song for a year and a half straight or anything, i just returned to it after that length of time and found i could play it somewhat flawless.
nice playing man

check out my video of me doing the same solos if you havent seen it already.

hmmm well its definately a good attempt and it all sounds right but i think u just need to build confidence with it, some bits u dont quite seem sure of ureself. I think that will come with more experience tho keep jammin \m/
