Anybody know of good hollow body guitars, between $200-$500? What determines if it is a quality instrument

thanks for the help

I got kicked out of a Mac store when me and my friends simultaneously put on meatspin on all of the computers in the store. Some eleven or twelve year old looking girls there freaked out.

Hollowbody? As in jazz box? As in an awesome guitar to play the blues and jazz with?

Gear:
Partscaster/Tele into a bunch of pedals, a Maz 18 head, and a Z Best cab.

Good Hollow bodies are $$$.
If you get more money... ES-137's kick ass. The only Gibson guitar that I love.

I've heard good things about the Ibanez Artcore series, and I have tried two of them. They sound awesome unplugged, don't know much about plugged in 'cause I only tested it for a minute and that time I was looking for an amp.

Epiphone have a good few, the casino, sheraton, etc. The sheraton especially, check 'em out.

In that price range, its kind of hard to beat the Ibanez Artcore series. But also check out the Washburn HB5 and HB30. I think they are full hollowbody. If you're looking for a semi-hollowbody that is good for more then just serious jazz and blues, check out the Epiphone Casino (a little out of your price range), the Dot, and any of the 'Kats.

definitely the Artcore series. I just bought the AF85 and it's got a great sound unplugged and plugged. can't beat it for the price.
