the sun sets down behind the
tallest tree.
the golden rays fade
to black
i think ive made it through
another day
hang my coat upon
the rack

dont matter where im looking
dont matter what im learning
dont matter where im working
im stuck on the rails of this
carnival carousel
goes round and round

the bus stops queued up round
the corner now
an im already running late
with just the shrapnel in my
pocket now
i guess i'll just have to wait

dont matter where im looking
dont matter what im learning
dont matter where im working
im stuck on the rails of this
carnival carousel
goes round and round
goes round and round

well im just going round in
circles now
my feet they hardly
touch the ground
i see grey hair in my local bar
and im scared thats where im bound

but i feel the track is bending
i feel the track is shaking
i feel the track is breaking
i jump from the rails of this
carnival carousel
im walking srtaight
im walking straight
and it feels great
she was born in spring, but i was born to late..........blame it on a simple twist of fate

Reminds me a lot of Hunter S. Thompson. I love the idea. Maybe the rhymes are a bit off but seems pretty good to me. 1 vote for LSD and two votes if you critique mine.
