Okay, I bought a Wilkinson Tremolo from GuitarFetish not too long ago, in hopes of upgrading my MIA Strat to gold hardware. This is the Wilkinson Bridge:

Now, here's my current bridge:

This one's obviously two point, the other is obviously, well, not.

would I have to drill holes in my strat to have the Wilkinson fit, or could I just screw it down like a two-point? Thanks.

Yes, you'd have to fill the existing holes and drill 6 new holes according to the new bridge.

The only problem is that the American trem is supposed to be better than the vintage trem. Maybe you specifically want a vintage trem, but Wilkinson has excellent 2-point trems which also come in gold finish.

Alright, thanks. I guess I'll exchange it for the American trem they have.
