hey all

I am trying to get my playing and phrasing to a professional sounding level, but me being me I'm not sure what i sound like to other people.

i did i quick recording of a rhythm part and a lead part which i will be playing for at a gig in a few weeks.

heres a recording called demo solo.

also tell me say if you herd this solo on a CD of a "big band" what would you think?

Cheers all.

yeah.. i agree with hi.. ur solo is nasty.. i like the tone.. kind to share ur rig for recording..
what bother me is at the end of the solo, the solo just kill of... guess u should hold the note for 2-3 seconds more... vibrato or something.. apart from that.. it's all good man..

cheers~

comment me ok.. since u r a better player..

i was using a Gibson Les Paul through guitar port, and the program was line6 riff tracker.

i agree with the solo cutting out, but that's because the program only records in parts, which makes the program really restrictive, its alright to jam to though.

it rocks man. it ROCKS. but about the phrasing, even though you keep on playing you can hear a clear "phrasing" pattern somehow.. it sounds really natural i love it.

but it doesn't and at the root note or something, at least it doesn't sound that way.. it rocks hard this way, but you asked about your phrasing skills and well maybe ending at the root note is more natural

nice playing i really enjoyed your solo. at first i thought it was just a chord progression but your solo totaly made that song worth listening to.

if u r into home recording.. try using other software like sonar, acid or adobe auditon to name a few..
