me and my friend are working on an acoustic love song called "the panty-dropping song" and we wer wondering what chords would sound good for a semi-fast spanish sounding song?
G-G-G D-E-C C chord

Listen to Cabron by RHCP. Try using a capo up there, around 5th or 7th fret.

I wouldn't call that a love song, unless you're Barry White. I would call that more like a "Get Laid" song. But yea, try some stuff in with a capo. It works for James Blunt. I know plenty of girls who want to bang him.

play the e major open chord then move the shape up one fret, then another 2 frets..very spanish sounding.

I really like this chord X54050. I don't have a guitar on me at the mo but I think that's it.

Not really Spanish sounding though

i'd say your guitar is out of tune, or you are accidentally muting strings that you aren't trying to, or your right hand isn't strumming at the same time that your left hand is fretting, or you could be reading the tab upside down...

santana uses chords like 575555 and 797777, I believe that they're minor 7th barre chords, just push up and down and shift back and forth
