any guitar with EAD strings will be fine. theres no use in the pther strings lol. powerchord bands. blaaaaaaa

a piece of wood and some shoestrings...hahaha seriously any guitar would do...but a strat would be better because it has single coil pick ups...a humbucker would make punk bluesy which punks hate! haha

But yeah, a strat would be fine, although other bands use les pauls, PRSs etc, so there's a fair amount to choose from.
