Does anyone have any suggestions on how to record acoustic songs with good quality, in the cheapest way? I plan on using Audacity.
I already have plenty of professional microphones, but what I need is a jack in the computer. Is a sound card really the cheapest and best way? Cause they seem expensive, and I don't even know if my old ass computer can support it... Or does anyone else have other methods?

Thanks

If you have a lot of professional microphones, do you not have at least a preamp or a mixer for those microphones?

the thing is, there's alot of random shit in my basement. Yeah, I guess I do. But I know that the mics are for a karoke set we have. Theres just so many big amp-looking things in my basement, I kinda ignore them.

Feel free to send them to me if you want... But anyway, you can buy an adapter off musician's friend or wherever to convert a mic output to a computer one.
