You're probably not going to find many that sound good and are cheaper. You might as well just dish out the money now so that you won't have to upgrade guitars later.

I would definitely go with an Agile TC-730. Agiles are great for the price and Semi-Hollow Teles are so sexy.

If semi-hollow isn't your thing, you could always check out the Agile TC-630.

I'm curious about INDIANA teles and J.R. Reynolds teles the indiana goes for about 130 here and the jr reynolds goes for 165 new, i'd be curious about them. Just for the price and they look nice.
