Well, I am building a custom guitar from scratch. I was originally supposed to be getting a premade neck, but that deal shut out so no I need to make a neck from scratch. There is one slight problem. My buddy and I only know how to make the guitar bodies and we have not the slightest clue of how to make a neck. We don't know a headstock from a fingerboard (not literally, but you get my point.) If anyone out there knows any extensively detailed guide out there with pictures, it would be amazingly appreciated.
www.projectguitar.com has a tutorial. It's probabaly best for you to buy a pre rediused and slotted fretboard for the neck. The neck isnt really not too hard to build, quite fun actually.
