Ive been wanting a guitar with some single coils in it so I can have a nice blues tone. So ive been looking at this- http://www.rondomusic.net/sst57.html I was planning on replacing the pickups with some texas specials and replacing the electronics. Does anyone have any experience with these guitars? I want to know if the wood is of a nice quality or not.

It's alder, so you should be fine, SX and Agile make good guitars to mod the hell out. I don't have any real bad experience, but the wood should be fine and replacing the pups should give you a good tone.

Sorry i have a random Agile question. To all of you Agile vererans out there, do you think they are going to get ANY more colors besides CSB and black for the AL3000 Slim neck?

Ask Kurt, he'd be the one who could answer that question.

To the threadstarter, you should aim for an Agile strat copy if you can, it'd be much better than an SX. Not saying SX's are bad, though, just saying you'd be better off with an Agile.
