Alright, I can play pretty much the we whole song...Except the pre-verse. I've looked at a few tabs and found one that pretty much perfectly synchs with the live videos/music videos. Except I can never get the fingering on these chords right. The progression is...

e|-----------------------------------------|
B|-----------------------------------------|
G|--3--3--3--3--3--3--3--3--3--3--/-5-5-5--|
D|--x--x--x--x--x--x--x--x--x--x--/-x-x-x--|
A|--x--x--x--x--x--x--x--x--x--x--/-x-x-x--|
E|--3--3--0--3--3--0--3--3--0--3--/-5-5-5--|

e|-----------------------------------------|
B|-----------------------------------------|
G|--3--3--3--3--3--3--3--3--3--3--/-6-6-6--|
D|--x--x--x--x--x--x--x--x--x--x--/-x-x-x--|
A|--x--x--x--x--x--x--x--x--x--x--/-x-x-x--|
E|--3--3--0--3--3--0--3--3--0--3--/-6-6-6--|

When I try and play it, some of the strings that should be deadened still ring. I use my index finger to play the note on E and middle to play the note on G and just lay my index finger over the other strings to mute them. My real problem I guess is when you have to let off the E, when I do that I unmute the strings. I tried to use my other 2 fingers to deaden them, but when I pull off the E, my pinky likes to push down for some reason and I can't seem to stop it. Any suggestion?

Yeah, I originally did it like that. But after doing it the right way, I'm just set on doing it that way.
