Im thinking of buying this acoustic

I'm not sure of the tone, it looks like a pretty good guitar, and is cheap as all hell. But does anyone have experience playing one?

If anyone has, please give some feedback.

Skip it. If you want an acoustic, get one with a solid top. Basswood is a somewhat mediocre wood, it can be good and it can be horrible.

I would suggest that you go try out a Washburn D10S if you're looking for an acoustic. It has a solid spruce top with mahogany back and sides. It sounds absolutely amazing. Better than any acoustic I've tried that was under $1000. They go for about $200, so it's not a huge cost. It will sound immensly better as well.

If you are looking for a cheap guitar, it looks decent enough. But if you plan on playing acoustic guitar more or less seriously, you should probably look at other brands.

Like Xenn said, you want a solid top, preferrably spruce or cedar. Btw, the people in the Acoustic Guitar forum would probably be able to help you better.
