Turn volume, treble, bass, mid, dist/drive all the way down, and then reverb all the way up. Thats how I play linkin park.

BTW: Play on the neck pickup

I tried it, and it actually did that sweet heavy sound. awesome, no need to fret the board or pluck the strings. The harder you fart the harder the strings will touch the board and let the pickup ring. Now thats a double-edge sword too...., since the unfortunate part might be that u shart or actually....................................

buy a prs stick it into a mesa boogie, downtune the prs to whatever but make the low e string slightly out of tune and set the amp settings as followed

treble 10
mid 0
bass 10
gain 12
presence 0

bingo.
